A Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) ROUTER is a table with a gantry to which the router or spindle mounts. CNC Router Tables use CAM programming to move the router along three axes (XYZ). An 'X' and 'Y' and 'Z' compound that can be instructed via computer to move the attached router in any direction. Simple CNC routers move north, south, east, west, and up or down while more complex systems can also perform at angles from the normal line.
